Don't ask me, I'm still using my 8-track tape player in my 1964 Impala and Beta VHS player on my DuMont TV. :)
I have a DVD playerl and don't use it very often. But Nathan has his own and it is in constant use.
Sorry Trish, DVD and DVR are totally different technologies.
Mercer -- I'll take that '64 off your hands!!!!
Not in the current century either. VRC is part of one TV, DVD with other TV, Nathan has his own. I don't use what I have, although I will do a few Christmas movies in the next month. There is so little on TV that I care enough to record. TV series will show up on DVD in a year, or on A and E in 2 years, PBS will usually run it several times in the next month.
Ig nore the second post the first one didn't show when I looked for it and I thought I had forgotten to send it. Or someone in charge delete it.
I know the technology is entirely different. Just don't need it.
It was grampa's car Mike, my first. Wish I still had it. Seriously though, I do not have a DVR or this TiVO thing and am clueless as to exactly what they are. And you know what? I don't care.
I have ATT UVerse which comes with a DVR set up...I love it! Never had anything like it before and I can record up to 4 movies at one time and store them for a period of 2 mo. I believe, and watch them when I want to watch them. It's so easy to use too...
This comes in handy for all my Hallmark Christmas movies.
There are so many other reasons I have the ATT service, but that is one big one.
When I relocate, this service is going to be one of my prerequisites.
the only thing connected to my tv is dvd player and a signal converter. from digital to analog for my
old tv.
Just go for it Mike. I love to record programs I will not beable to watch until later or several days later. Get out the check book !!!!
DVD? That's underwear ain't it?
