Hello members. Just want to let you know I have been a little under the weather.
But getting better.
I just wanted to say----------
I could not be more proud of a active few, Most members just read ( there is some good reading here.} but we have posted over 1400 messages of history. What a great group! I love ya all.

i see noproblem with just reders obviouly i am not one. My only worry abnout is the group somehow restricting posts. that i hope not.

i do know december 6. Pearl Harbor is comming up lots of stuff fromm rumors, strategies the finding of the japanese minisub. some folk might have had relatives there. My father in law went up & joined the marines the next day.I know the Giants were playing seaboard of the country? News travelled fast but still not like today.

I meant what time was the bombing on the news on the eastern seaboard? Would anyone know if the news interfred wit the giants game?

As a "reader", I wanted to say how much I appreciate all the thoughtful insights to the past. It helps remind us of where we came from and how much we have accomplished. Yet we strive for simpler times. "Go figure".

Interesting the past was more simple but needed a very different set of skills and abilities (of which I have none. i am clearly designed for present day and even that i have a lot of diffiulty funtioning.
