God's Plan

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)

Are we experiencing fatigue? Frustration? Fear and worry? We may not be in God's plan for our lives. God's plan is the best plan out there.

We need to open up our hearts and spirits for God's plan. We need to get to know God, not just to know about Him, but to know Him personally. We need to discover and fulfill God's purpose for us on this earth. We need to develop our talents and skills and to continually build the character that God wants for us.

Face it, most of us have more earthly life behind us than before us, but that doesn't mean our living is over and God's plan for us fulfilled. Proverbs 19:21 says, "You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail." (NLT)

Let's continue to strive for the revelation and fulfillment of God's plan in our lives!

(Thanks to Pastor Micah Jackson for the ideas behind this posting.)
there is a promise from GOD Jer. 29: 11 -13 God promises to proper us in any circumstance that we might be in. Israel was captive in Babalon. yet the word from GOD was I know the plans I have for you plans for your good not evil. the new testament tells us that GOD will cause all things to work together for our improvement for those who love Hin and are called according to his purpose. that of course is a parapharse of Rom. 8:28 but it reminds us that God is the same yesterday, today and forever and can be trusted in good times and hard times.
Thank you Mjoy for reminding us all
May the Grace and Peace of God Our Father Rest, Rule and Abide with us all now and forever Amen.

Amen Mjoy and jtrey. I think sometimes that Yes, I am living the last part of my life. I find myself wishing that I had known some of the things I know now, a lot earlier in my life. God always brings to my mind, Moses. He can use us just like He used Moses. Age doesn't matter to God. I don't have to do great things, but I surrender my life to God to use me as He sees fit.
I am so blessed. I am enjoying my retirement so much. I am more active in church and enjoy it more.
God can send people into our lives to touch with His love.
I am so thankful that God is who He says He is. God can do what He says He can do. I am who God says I am. I can do all things through Christ. God's Word is alive and active in me.
These quotes are from Beth Moore. They are so true.
God bless you both and may you have a beautiful Christmas.
