Temporary Head Writer

Lorraine Broderick, a member of the current writing staff, has been named the temporary head writer, replacing Pratt. She was mentored by Agnes Nixon. However, none of her contributions will be seen until after the first of the year, as the storylines through the anniversary show have been written and taped.

It's also being reported that Susan Lucci was very vocal in her disdain for Pratt's writing.

Long time actors, especially those who have been around from the beginning, have every right to complain long and hard about bad writing. Maybe TPTB paid attention to Susan L.

Lorraine Broderick is a vast improvement--I'm looking forward to much better storylines.

Having no idea what Broderick has penned related to the past and current shows under Pratt, I reserve judgment until I see her storylines after the first of the year.
Susan was not the only one who was vocal, so was W Willey, V Irrizary, D Williams, D Canary, A Turner, J Larson and even the lesser players.
