Missed you all

Hope you had a great time, my holiday was good - I went to my son's, they had me and his wife's mom, sis and nephew. We had a wonderful meal on Thursday and went out several times on Friday - I did almost all my shopping for the 8 grandkids that I will see at Christmas very quickly, it was SO nice to have Kathy [son's wife] there to guide me, made it really easy. I left and came back home today because they were putting up Christmas stuff and I'm not quite ready for decorations yet. Got home about 1:15 this afternoon and in the next 4 hours did several errands. Feel just chock-full of energy, but now it is getting dark, so will get out one of the new library books and put my feet up with a cup of hot tea. The pies I took down turned out well, although they took longer to bake than expected. I left them there, do not need to stuff my face for several more days with high calorie things, LOL

So glad you are back. One of my daughters brought me home yesterday. Right now, I have NO energy. That will change as the week goes on. Woke up this AM laying on my face and that "HURT". So, which book did you start with?

My goodness, it has been a busy weekend around here! Sandrajo back [yeaaaaa!!!!] and Barbara hurting [ooooooooooooh]

I read Shakespeare's Champion by Charlaine Harris last night - it is the 2nd in a series of 5 about a woman "with a past" who settles in the small town of Shakespeare, Arkansas for no better reason than that her last name is Bard. I had missed this one, but read the others in order. Mrs Harris has several other series, but I hope she writes another in this series. Also started The Godwulf Manuscript by Robert B. Parker, the very first of the Spenser mysteries. Parker is a very prolific writer and it is always interesting to go back and pick up the first in a series.

Yes,

That ties things together. I feel a lot better this AM. Made it to church yesterday. very little pain now and most of that is the kneel; Stitched area is healing good. Sure is a beautiful, frosty morning here.
