Big Jack

Life must be tough on the open range—just look at that ear...

WOW!! Fantastic shots!! I'd say this one has survived the coyotes so far... just barely by the skin of his ear!!

My what big ears you have ... all the better to hear you, my dear. Maybe they helped him hear the coyote approaching just in the nick of time!

Great captures. That rabbit has big big ears. I bet he can hear the coyotes from far away.

We have a lot more bunnies than hares, but there are still enough to get a picture now and then.

again, great photos, wonder if you have ever seen a wild havolina pig??My sister lives in Sedona and they used to come into her park and root around in her yard, big and scary and ugly and very dangerous is how she described them. The rabbits are more my style and we have lots of them up here in S.Oregon also. They sure are cute.

I have a lot of pictures of Javelinas from a park in Prescott or Payson, but as usual, they're on a disk somewhere in oblivion. If I ever come across them again. I'll put a couple on Flickr.

FYI: Javelinas are not pigs. The are a member of the peccary family.

Great pics! Love those ears.

We had small bunnies in southeastern PA when I was growing up. My kids had domestic bunnies.
