Guess I'm already stressed since when I see something that is reserved for "....women and children" I find myself irritated. Not just for those exclusions but all the others as well. I know, I know, irrelevant; did mention that irritability thing didn't I? All of the text in that piece applies equally not only to people but to most times of the year. Christmas is a special time - for stress as well as for joy; it's the contrast that makes you appreciate both all the more. As a single parent with four kids, I had two basic rules for this special holiday: not allowed to talk about Christmas until after Thanksgiving and, two; make a list of five things you really want. If you're lucky, you might get one of them. ('course they almost always did better then they expected. That was true even in the hard times because their expectations were adjusted accordingly.
Remember that "joy" part.
This is my personal opinion only but it seems to be the case 99% of the time!
Most stress is created by having too many thoughts in our minds. I have so many things to do! Have you ever noticed that once something is accomplished no matter how big or small...especially the things that took 5 minutes to do but spun in our heads for hours, days and months in some cases brought a huge sense of relief and we wonder why we didn't do it sooner. Organize and do seems to relieve stress...?
be careful of using that link...it made my eons crash ...took me to and advertisement and then I could not get out of it and made my mail crash
Stress is self inflicted
It is a matter of decieding that nothing bothers you.
The Law of Allowing, letting people be who they are on their journey
You really don't have to be around people that get to you no matter if they are your children, mother, etc. It is your choice.
If you don't want to shop, don't, if you don't want to put up a tree, don't.
Life is choice, do what makes you happy.
If you do for others, make sure it makes you happy doing it.
Usually when I get stress is when I get something done..
