My Clairvoyant's Message

One of my favorite people and someone I consider a friend is a talented Clairvoyant who travels quite a bit of the world. Sometimes, he puts out a little newsletter or thought. I enjoyed his latest one primarily because of one statement that resonated with me, with pleasure and humor. I figured some of you might like it, too.

See first reply.
Last week I was interviewed by a journalist and he asked about the essence of my work with people, including sessions, lectures, seminars and writings.

I looked into the journalist’s eyes, reflected for around 10 seconds, trying to find the best way to briefly describe the benefit of my work. I took a deep breath and said in one sentence: “Bringing people in touch with their inner truth and unique potential."

In my personal experience with people all around the world (also souls from other worlds) I have learned that each one of us has a personal potential or to use a more religious term, a mission. People who are in touch with their soul's potential automatically start to feel good with what they do. If we were living in a healthy society, we would easily feel integrated and accepted with what we came to do in this life. Unfortunately, we are living in a corrupted and destructive culture. This makes it very difficult for people who are sensitive enough to be able to listen to their inner self because most of the time they are not understood or are judged for being themselves or even expelled from “normal life”. Years ago, my mother gave me a postcard, which I have always kept. It says:

“The one's who are not crazy are not normal."

As easy as it may sound, it is difficult to listen to the inner truth and potential. Even if we can hear it, all the noise and pollution (For example TV, Internet, loud music, noise on the streets, worries to pay debts, fears we are having in our minds etc) around us makes it very hard to follow.
To be able to hear the inner voice, leading to what our true potential is, we need time and silence. Then it takes a lot of confidence to pay attention to that voice and to express it in daily life.

In my personal experience (always the best example to use), following the inner truth is not easy (at all) but at the end of the day it gives inner fulfillment and peace. I can see this for myself and by the people around me who share the same experience.
True, it is not very easy to change life from one day to the next by following the inner truth but doing a little meditation one or two times a day, prayer or any other practice to get in touch with the inner silence is a good way to start paying attention to the soul and its creative potential. Even sitting in a taxi and closing the eyes for 3 or 4 minutes, touching base with the inner silence is a big step to get closer to what we really are: The soul and it’s power!

Bonne chance!

Finding a quiet place can be challenging. I don't have a large family, but my hubby is a person who doesn't talk to you until you are trying to meditate. So, I came up with an idea or two that I want to share.

First, I go to bed after everyone else. Then, there are usually no interruptions. I can listen to meditative CD's, say prayers, and just meditate on my goals. I find that I fall asleep faster and forget the troubles that plague us all.

Next, I decided that one of the greatest places is the bathroom because you can lock the door and usually no one wants to come near. I am blessed with my own bathroom. A little bit of "heaven" I declared was mine alone after our last remodeling. Everyone else uses the main bathroom, but the small master bath is mine. I can read, pamper myself and meditate with virtually no interruption.

I used to use the workroom in my basement, but that became to easy to just open the door and my trend of thought was gone. I had a sign posted on the back "office" one time, but it was simply ignored.

In nice weather, there is nothing like working on the outside with the plants and flowers. I am free for hours on end, because no one wants to "help". Sometime, I take the dogs for a walk in the woods, and I find that a good place. There is also a field with a fantastic mountain view nearby and I like to sit with my dogs who can sense when I am meditating and they lay quietly.

Hope these help those who need their "special space".

That would have been my guess, too ... LOL!

OneLittleLady, that's great that you've taken action to create your sacred space.
Nothing wrong with your own personal bathroom ... I'd have one too if I could!

One weekend last January I took over the biggest bedroom of the house for my art room, and it has awesome french doors that look out onto the Cascade range. I love getting up early and going in there first thing and watching the colors play on the snow capped peaks, alone before the world wakes up :)
I don't "meditate" in the most common sense of the word. Maybe one day I will. I consider many of my activities, creating art and while I am working, as moving meditation a lot of the time. I like being alone.
