Okay... you've attracted my interest! What the heck is BFI powder and what do you do with it?
It is the most fantastic antiseptic I have ever used. You heal so fast with it. I even saw it heal over infection so you have to be careful. Not in my world can I find it. Amazon you say. I guess they still make it. It has been around a long time. Good stuff. Comes in a power. Sprinkle on and your healed in no time.
Interesting! Maybe it's made of something like a steptic stick is used for shaving/razor cuts on the face. Closes them up immediately and stops bleeding! That's an old remedy, too.
OMG they do still make it. Thank You so much. Got to get me some.
BFI Powder is the best. I have have so many very bad cuts and road Rash that i have treated with this powder. It keeps the wound dry and we all know germs like to grow in moist areas. I am so mad that we can't find it at every drug store in the country. It was very common 30 years ago. What happened? We were first introduced to it by a Doctor in the 1950's. My sister hurt her self real bad and needed stitches but of course my parents were poor. A doctor told my parents about BFI and the rest is "history". I have, as I said cut my self, slid down the road on my back, cut three fingers on my left hand with a table saw (yes I still have all my fingers and they work fine). All this without seeing a doctor. I like Doctors just fine I just can't afford them! Maybe I am just lucky but I think its because I haven't had infections from my wounds because I have used BFI powder. Goebel
