They have now, not only have "Black Friday", but have now added "Black Saturday"!
Did any one go to Black Friday? Is anyone going to try Black Saturday?

Never have done a "Black Friday" shopping run. I did go to my local WAl-mart last night around 7:30PM. It was very quiet. I don't like the tought of "fighting" for "gifts." I have done a Christmas Eve trip. Mostly to people watch. Getting crazy over gifts doesn't feel that loving to me. I'm not comfortable in large crowds anyway. I fear my own anger when "push comes to shove."

Later in the evening went to Joann's fabric to see if they had patterns on sale. wanted to make a certain pillow for my 15 year old granddaughter.. It wasn't to busy.

The only thing I need right now in my life is the peace of God. And that's not for sale.. Went to Black Friday once in my life because I really needed a good price on a TV and I pray I will never be in that postion again. God supplys all my needs.

NO I HAVE NEVER GONE SHOPPING ON BLACK FRIDAY....THE CROWDS ARE TOO LARGE..GOD BLESS YOU

I have never been either. I do not think I c ould stand all of the crowd. Loud noises bother me. I saw some adds that had some pretty good sales but I did not go. I am with kitkat...All I want is peace.

My husband and I regularly venture out about 10:30 to 11:00 am. At that time crowds have thinned a bit. We enjoy watching people as much as we enjoy the shopping.Yesterday we had the most wonderful time as it was the most sucessful day we have had in years. At one store we saw a younge couple that so reminded us of ourselves as newlyweds. At another we noticed a gray headed couple that reminded me of Grandparents. It was very inspiring. Then at dinner we observed some families with chidren that brought wonderful reminders of times past when our boys were little.

On top of all that we were able to actually finish 90% of our Christmas shopping.
