Boy is it! Even before Thanksgiving they were puttin out Christmas decorations for sale at local stores. riding to our daughters for dinner yesterday We saw someone had their tree up!

For me, well it's too early. Wait, savor the moment, take your time. It only comes once a year ya know.

Since I retired , the Christmas season is totally different . We used to do 40% of our annual business in November and December . 100 hour weeks started in mid-November and went through New Year's as we tried to hit sales numbers . I don't miss that at all . I used to hate the idea of Christmas .

yes golfer....I saw a several houses decorated for Christmas the day after Halloween....I do understand that some elderly have to do these things when weather permits, and when they have help too....but it seemed so funny to me....lol.....we never had our tree up until 2 weeks before Christmas....but there was not any artificial trees back then....least not as many.......I like the idea of savoring the days....but with my work.....it's hard to savor much........I make myself "stop" though......'cause it goes so quickly, you blink and it is over....

We will have our (fake) tree up and the house decorated for the season by Sunday evening. There are been several homes with decorations go up before Thanksgiving around here; just not my thing. I like everything in it's little niche, and Christmas belongs beween Thanksgiving and New Years.
