Sounds like the sure raise hell with the flora and fauna out your way, Sidell. Down in Florida they take off on the 2-legged variety.

I have things I llike about an area or a community, some more than others. But I can't say I have any particular 'pride' in one area over another. Communities are all different. The way some people talk one would think they designed and built the town and all its features themselves, then populated it with people of their choosing. To me that's the only way to stand back and look at a town with 'pride.'

Ny'ers showed their unflappable grit and courage after 9/11 -- and generousity to the victims' families. That could make me proud. The City had a crime problem in the earlier part of the 70's and it got cleaned up to the point it is one of the safest large cities in the world. NY'ers care about their city, are involved in preserving the history while at the same time are progressive to attract new business and stay on top as the greatest financial and arts center in the world. I could take pride in the City for its people and their spirit -- of which I have been one, and probably always will be a NY'er no matter where I live. But currently I live elsewhere.

Tess and I are in disagreement as to who will win the game and I see that lostinatlanta has joined the Ain'ts bandwagon but this will be a high scoring affair which we will win on a field goal. Brees is impossible to stop though so u have to at least be able to stuff the run. And we can do that. Christ, please win Patriots so I don't have to eat crow because i ate crow once and I'm still spitting out feathers.
