Coathangers to Stupak

My daughter told me women are sending wire coathangers to Bart Stupak. While I was looking for his address, I found a website with a petition against his amendment, signed it and am now passing it on to anyone interested:

What is the Stupak ammendment? Sounds like abortion rights..please fill us in on particulars. A don't believe in using abortion as a means of birth control but I do believe in womans rights for their own bodies..so please where does Stupak stand between my two options...

It is an amendment that would impose tight restrictions on abortions that could be offered through a new government-run insurance plan and through private insurance that is bought using government subsidies.
