WE VE ALL BEEN THERE

My burden at times is heavy my soul at times is blue.I ve known pain and loneliness.I ve struggled to make it thru.We all have been there. There is no shame to admit any of it.No one here will judge. For this too is a part of the journey in a subject we all call LIFE PMOM

I am blue and out of sorts today even tho my husband and I had a nice dinner. Missing was my twin in several years. She and her husband was with her family and for that I'm grateful. Tomorrow he goes into hospice. They have no idea of what the furture will bring wheather it will be days weeks or up to a few months. He will never come back to our community.I am feeling what sis is going thu the anxiiety and the start of her grief. But I am alone with these feelings. My hu sband feels I'm wierd. He has no idea how completely sis and I are connected. Blue is my name today

Has your husband ever lost anyone he was very close too? Sometimes that will broaden their understanding for others. Having walked so many folks in my life those last days to that final day, I know what you are talking about. Here is a place that is safe to share when you feel the need.

I don't normally get depressed that much over the holidays anymore. But there is a gentle sadness that is pervasive. My wife and I both lost our families to hate and bigotry, so it is pretty much us. We both have grown children who have turned their backs on us. It is a shame it has to be that way.

I wrote a blog post about it yesterday. Here is the link for any who might want to read it. If not, that's okay too:-)

I have twin daughters and I can vouch for the closeness. One is with me in Philly, the other is in GA. They are dealing with being apart for the first time since birth and Thanksgiving is magnifying the separation.
Prayers for you and your family. Your situation is understandable and you have every right to honor your feelings. My motto is be true to yourself and your feelings...go with it; cry, pray, question....and cry again if you need to do that and until you feel better. Ever try journalling? Write down those emotions. It really does help!

If you cannot get the compassion from your hubby, know that we are here!!! You are not alone! Someone told me during a melancholy mood I was experiencing....look up and stay up! Think and hold close to the good times with him and your family.

Hi Ladies !
I am extremely close to my daughter, although she is in another state....I miss her sooooo much and hope to move there sometime in the near future, we have a bond though that I think her dad is jealous of at times, it does go beyond a mother daughter thing - its' just special, no words can describe it. Sometimes we have that rarest of connections that some people may not understand....oh they understand the basic of closeness of family, a certain friend or loved one...but sometimes it goes even deeper than that and Ladydazy, you and your twin have that extra special bond. You know it, unfortunately not everyone understands or shares it. So you hold close that bond, that specialness and cherish it....let others shake their heads and wonder, its' okay. Its special for just you and yours.
Have a great evening ! My stomach is doing the 'I ate too much' rumble hee hee !I gotta run ! Wheeeee !

I understand perfectly UWW!! I don't know what I'd do without my daughter...She is like my lifeline or something, and she tells people we are best friends, which is a rare thing for a kid to admit..And no, I don't hang out with her friends and we don't smoke or drink together...lol..She is a good kid, no drugs, drinking or smoking..In fact, it's like she is the mother sometimes..lol..
