Reprieve from cooking!

Today, Thanksgiving, we are going to our daughters and all she wanted me to bring was slaw and tea. Hallelujah! What a restful day - no slaving in the kitchen from 6:00 a.m. 'til noon. :-) Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Good for you ozarkfilly: I keep telling my friends (my age) let the younger gereration,which by now have children if not grandchildren of their own, take over the holiday celebrations. For myself I went to the church on the corner which invites the public for dinner. Had the best piece of pumking pie ever!

I totally agree--let the younger ones cook and if they do not want to go out and eat. I did and really enjoyed it. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
