I did much of my mountain climbing as a wee one, that didn't seem fair at the time but it brought me 3 wonderful children and to the woman I am today so it was worth it.
I have a whole mountain range in my background. The mountain I am climbing now is the progress of being a senior. I have retired twice only to return to work. I am finding work not only essencial for financial gain but for my basic welbeing. I have so many dreams that I am climbing toward.
I guess compared to a lot of people, I only have molehills so far..Sometimes what seems to be a mountain to start with, does not seem so major once it's passed..
One of the things about age is "you've been there". That means that those mountains from years ago have been climbed and you can look back and say I did it and if it happens again, I can climb that mountain easier the next time. So I'll sit back and relax some, and enjoy it, which I was afraid to do when I was younger.

I've had quite a few mountains in my life. I realize that now that I look back. But at the time I thought they were molehills because I didn't try to take in the entire scope of them at once and just dealt with things one day at a time.
No mountains today, just gentle hills and changing scenery to keep my interest.
My life has been just like the Earth's surface (continually changing)......lots of mountains to climb, only to slide down the other side, landed in many of valleys, coasted on some plateaus; the latest was my marriage which ended in divorce. Back in the valley at the present with no where to go but up. So, I am in the process of mapping a new course....recreating or reinventing (never knew which one to use-LOL)my new life.
