enjoy your day too, but make everyone help you with the dishes.....
I'm going to a friend's house, and not cooking much. I made a pie last night, and made my own crust instead of buying a frozen one, or a rolled one. We'll see how that worked out later. This is one of only three time when I have not cooked Thanksgiving dinner in over 25 years, and I'll miss it....but no for long since I'm planning a big turkey dinner for Xmas...heh heh heh
thanks - just got home from Dad's - he decided to buy the dinner premade from a local grocery so we wouldn't have to work - but Lorraine - you'll still bring the carrot salad right? and a sweet potato cassarole - oh and a pie?????? lol

Had a delightful dinner with my daughter and her family. The wonderful thing about it is she not only prepared all the goodies that were traditional in our side of the family, but also all the yummies traditional with her husbands family plus some treats the grown children hankered for.......
Except for ending a sentence with a preposition the day was supercalifragilisticexpialadocious...... ..
Ending that sentence tuckered me out.......Nappy Time.....
Whims, hahaha, I think dad suckered you in.
I hope everyone had a great day!
Hey Whims...could you swing by and pick up a turkey on your way over? ha ha ha. So, how was the fancy store-bought dinner?
It was not bad actually - but considering all the extras he wanted me to make - doing the turkey etc wouldn't have been that much of a pain and a whole lot cheaper lol.
