I love Waldorf salad! I haven't made it for years but it's one of my favorites from childhood. Does anybody remember ambrosia? I can't even remember everything that's in it but I think it was pineapple, grapes, coconut, whipped cream. I can't remember what else.
Crest, the Ameretto with lemon sounds pretty tasty, too.
I make ambrosia for Christmas. Here's how I make it. Chunk pineapple, mandarin oranges, maraschino cherries, coconut, mini-marshmallows, and sour cream. Yup! Sour cream. Those marshmallows soak up the juice and mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
I also love Waldorf salad.
Ooop! Sweet potatoes too. My favorite.
Thanks Crest. I may have to amend my menu for tomorrow.
Hell if New Jersey wasn't so far away, I'd really amend my dinner menu. I'd invite myself to Cresto's house!
I'll have a snort of Amaretto for you, Two!
I am sooooooo tired!
I won't know until I get there. I'm responsible for providing the sage and oyster dressings (2 different bowls) and a chocolate cake. I'll call in the morning to see if I should pick up anything here at a real grocery store before driving 40 miles to the town with a general store.
