When I was a kid, my dad and his best friend, Jim, who he worked with at a steel manufacturing plant, had a habit of saying, "Hi, guy!" to everyone as they passed in the hallway. One very tall, very large female steel worker stopped right in front of Jim one day and said menacingly, "Don't you ever say that to me again!"

Geez!! Talk about sensitive!

I start most of my emails with "hey guys!"....One of my friends has never said anything about me doing it, but a few weeks ago she mentioned getting an email from her step-grandson and he said "hey guys!", she was offended by it....oops...lol...I told her to be happy she got an email...period...
