There are changes happening and our world will be different-for the better eventually. 2012 is just the end of a cycle, as the Mayans themselves have tried to explain. It's all the other folk who tried to make their calendar into a doomsday prophecy!
It's greedy people trying to make a buck. Like Al Gore and his ficticious 'global warming'!

There is one thing that Al Gore offered up in his documentary: a graph that shows the cycles. Very valuable. I'd looked for that info for a long time. Whodda thunk he had it? ;)

The Mayan Lon count calendar has 10 cycles. It's Cycle 13 that ends in December 2012. There are 7 more to go.

I don't think Al Gore's purpose is to make a buck. Our planet is in trouble if we keep doing what we're doing to her. Of course the naysayers who think differently point out every mistake because they don't want to believe that.

One thing made my life a dream ... I downloaded the free app: ieSpell. It puts a little abc-checkmark at the top/right of my IE8 and with one click it automatically spellchecks whatever I typed in. Very cool. Me very happy with it.
