Has anyone ever had experience with what some call astral travel? What I mean is that you go to sleep and dream but you feel like you are traveling in the world into the past or future? I have had that most of my life. I saw myself as a child, but it was like I was a bird looking down from above. I traveled to several places but the one that is still with me is one where I see myself on a porch on a farm and I am watching my uncles kill chickens to eat. This was different in that fact that while watching them I saw an old man walking at the edge of the woods. He had long white hair and he had a huge pure white dog with him. I run over to the dog who licks my face and the dog has a purple tongue. The old man never speaks to me but I know that he had a house but he lived out in the woods. As I got older, I realized in this that no one but me could see this man. He always seemed to watch over me as a child. When the "dream" is over it is like a shock, I feel like I am falling and then my body jerks as my spirit returns to my body. Has anyone ever experienced this?
