I'll be sending cards this year--I always do, but my list gets a bit shorter each year. I also do the Christmas letter (which I haven't started yet). My life is pretty dull, so it's short, but saves all that hand writing of notes. There are folks Ilike to keep in touch with even if it's just at Christmas.
I havn't sent cards for years and thank goodness I'm getting less and less also.
I send around 10 cards every year. Mostly family & a few close friends.
I hold it down to family I'm not going to see over the holidays.
same here will mail about 10 or so.
I mail about ten or twelve cards. They are to special relatives and friends that I won't see for Christmas but like to keep in touch with. I hand write notes or letters to go with each. I usually buy the cards on sale after Christmas and put them away for the next year. I ordered, on line, a book of Christmas Madonna and Child stamps from the USPS. They charge one dollar for postage and handling - it is worth it to me.
I like sending out and receiving alot of cards. It's not that expensive and is worth the holiday cheer. I remember as a child all the cards pasted around the doors. :-)
I have not sent Christmas Cards in many, many years; nor have I sent out Christmas letters updating my friends on our family and what we have done. I find it too much of a hassle and expensive, but I may send a few this year if I can find the box of old cards I found when my mother-in-law passed away last October. They are new, and would only cost me a few cents to send. Cheapskate? Maybe..just don't have any money.
I love to recieve cards.........so I mail cards to family and friends. Usually write short personal notes to each.....don't like "Christmas letters" as they are impersonal.
