Two projects done
Hi, Friends,
I've finally given up on trying to get the ripples out of my Maine sailboats wall hanging. I ripped the binding off twice, tried to make the seams in the border pieces bigger, and put it through the dryer. It will be given as a Christmas gift to the Maine Heaths with its ripples on display.

My wonderful quilting teacher at the community college has been trying to help me figure out why I have this problem of too much fabric in some pieces. We've figured out that the bottom piece on some seems migrates to the right, giving me quarter-inch seams on top and smaller seams on the bottom. This time, I made sure that I could see the teensiest sliver of the bottom fabric as I sewed, and VOILA, this table runner is lovely and flat.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Ellen
