Modern Water Bed

This is the contemporary, minimalistic, version of the old fashioned water filled bed. The matress does not contain
water so no leaking. But the soothing motion of this hanging bed will lull you off to dream land just like the water bed did, back in the '80s.

I used to have a house boat. Man, sleeping on that was wonderful, all that bobbing and swaying.... and that was just the boat. bwhahahaha

I had designed one like this for a small place I had. But it had four connections to the ceiling instead of two and went through pulleys to raise and lower the bed so I could use the room when not sleeping. Never did get to build it though, so I don´t know if my idea would have worked or not.

The bed is attached to a strong. custom made beam in the ceiling with very long and large screws. It has a neat pulley system to lower and raise it.

In a normal ceiling the bed could PROBABLY be attached with four steel wires attached to two beams.

Colgringo-how did you plan to attach your idea to the ceiling?

I see myself tripping over that loopy chain hanging sort of under the bed. I admit it, I'm clumsy.
