November 24th
Well, my teeth are all cleaned, x-rayed and checked. Yes! Glad that is over. No problems, which is even better news. Oh, I even was able to get a badly needed hair cut or trim. Techie is supposed to take me shopping today for my birthday gift. Oh, my cup runneth over.
I want to warn everyone about something that I saw on the news last night. There is a device which can be purchased on the internet that can "steal" your information from you credit cards and/or passport. The device just has to be run close to the wallet or handbag and it picks up the info from the magnetic strip. I think most of the time we would notice someone that close to us; UNLESS, we are in a crowd such as at an airport or entertainment event. Men who keep their wallets in their back pockets are probably the most likely to be a victim. Now, there is a way to prevent it and one very wise, and now probably wealthy man, has become up with this envelope (for lack of a better word) that a person can use, and it the passport or cards are slipped into the device can not read the magnetic strip. Aren't the "bad" guys just always coming up with things to make our lives more difficult.
Thanks to all who have posted to the Thanksgiving memories thread. I do hope others will as well. I think it is very interesting to read the memories of others as well as the traditions.
I voted for Donnie last night. I loved his performances on DWTS last night. He may not be as technically good as Mya, but he is so much more fun to watch. That should be worth the prize.
I hope that the remainder of your day is great.
