Hair Color

What's your natural hair color? Then and now? Do you dye it or are you naturally gray?

I've tried so many times to let the gray grow out. It gets about three inches long and I can't take it anymore. Sometimes I color it myself first, then run to the hairdresser to get it fixed. Other times my brain tells me not to mess with it and go straight to the salon. I keep it highlighted with brown and blond so when the roots start to grow in, it isn't so noticeable. Touch ups every 8 to 10 weeks. Hair color required touch ups every 4 weeks.

Pretty, sexist, don't you think? How about those who's hair color is flesh?

I really wish I could go all gray without the ugly grow in and I'm not cutting my hair. I hate the time and money it takes to maintain hair color. I know plenty of men who color their hair too. My husband has a beautiful head of silver hair and I'm jealous. And bald men are sexy.

Ah Robt, I do enjoy you!! Bald men are very sexy and you know what the ladies say!!!!

This has been my year long + project! I decided I am going to be my feisty self with gray hair. So I took my profile picture and started growing it out! It was terrible while it was happening and for the most part, it was in a ponytail. Well, I allowed it to be cut as short as it has been in many, many years, about shoulder length. It is almost done. Actually, I feel fine about. The only catch to it is the mirror!!

My mother is 96 and still dyes her hair.

I blonde streak mine too so it takes a bit longer for the gray roots to show. First I put on a brown base, then I streak it up. Val and I are definitely twinnies!

Het Val! Are your measurements 36DD, 26,36? Boy, if they are, then we really must have been twins separated at birth.

I always thought blonde hair with dark roots looked sexy in an earthy way. I will NOT let mine go gray. I have been gray since I was 27.

I dye my hair since I was 30. I've been thinking of letting my grey hair grow but I don't like it...I'm originally blonde and I dye it also blonde. Sometimes I do it myself and sometimes I go to the Salon.
i use the natural, ammonia free kind.

Crest, close I'm a 38DD. I really would love to do what you did Moondancerinred. I get part way and then get so fed up, I get it highlighted. I just can't cut it. I've always had long hair except when I lost the weight. The hair came out too. Then I cut it and when it grew back, I swore never again. Vanity, I know. It's my sin.

I think it has to do with self esteem. I highlight my brown hair and the grey doesn't show that much. I can't even see any. Maybe I should wear my glasses when looking in the mirror.

My husband has grey, blonde hair and he gets compliments on it. I agree, bald men are sexy.
