Carly I would assume has always kept track of her daughter. But which one is it? Which one would you like her to be? I am going with Mia because it makes sense that she would be adopted by a two parent family. Melanie on the other hand, came from such a horrible background I can't see anyone giving over a sweet baby girl to that lifestyle and such a mean father. Don't know about the mother though! So this should be a really interesting story line. They had to have something really terrific after the baby switch. Carly is going to move in with Maggie, Mia and Melanie. So here we go! She is going to have to work very hard to keep her precious secret from Vivian! Last week's SOD. On the stands or on the web for the whole story! By the way whoever brought this up about a week or so ago had a really good idea! Kudos!
I think it's Mia. Carly was so upset at the way that Chad was treating Mia. She took Mia's side w/o knowing any of the details. Also Mia is younger than Melanie, more age appropriate. Also if Melanie was Carly's child, it would take away the storyline possibility of having Nicole be Melanie's mother.
I think it's Mia too, but I don't know if Carly knows yet. That's why she is moving into Maggie's house. To get to know the girls. Melanie is only in her 20s. Carly had this child in soap opera years long enough ago to be her. I do not think Nicole is Melanie's mother at all. We knew Nicole when she was first in Salem and she was very young, so I don't know how they could Justify Melanie being her child. Carly is older than Nicole. Carly is well into her 40s and Nicole is only in her 30s. Big difference. But who knows! I think this story is going to be great. Carly trying to figure out which one is her daughter!
Carly does know of course. After today's show I am starting to lean towards Melanie. Just the vibe I got when Carly bumped into her and Melanie was burned by the hot coffee. Carly acted so maternal towards her even though Melanie was being hysterical and over the top! And then Carly said she was a doctor and Melanie countered that she was a nurse! Carly kind of smiled like a proud mama! Hmmmmmm!
I get the feeling that Carly thinks it's Mia, but the way she and Melanie have reacted to each other I think it may be her.
I believe it is Melanie. Their personalities are so similar. Carly is trouble with a capitol T and so is our sweet little Melanie who could con the socks off a homeless man. Mia seems to be cut from another cloth. But that is just my opinion and I look forward to learning which of the girls is Carly's biological daughter. I like them all and look forward to the story developing some more!
I' leaning towards Melanie. Plus, if memory serves me, she just had an 18th birthday while Max was still in town. As far as being raised by Trent, it stands to reason, Laurence hated the baby and would therefore give her to such a vile person!
Melanie is drinking in public establishments now so I think she skipped a few years. LOL! But she is still young enough to be Carly's daughter. Carly definitely knows which girl is her daughter. I just really felt the similarity between her and Melanie yesterday. Could be Mia though.
