Looking for sympathy...

i was "rear-ended" this evening during rush hour traffic. i'm pretty okay except for a sore neck, but my poor car is pushed in and sad looking. gosh darn kid, driving a huge brand spanking new shiney pick up truck --- drove right into the back of me while i was stopped at a light. pushed me into the car in front of me too. i'll bet dollars to donuts he was on his cell phone texting his girlfriend or something.... wah! wah!

I hope you go see your dr. You never know if that accident did some damage. I'm glad you weren't hurt. Darn, I wish people would pay attention when they drive!

I was at a red light in the middle of 5, count them 5 lanes....5 in the morning, no cars at all around me, on coming, or cross traffic, when wham! A driver hit the back of my truck. She backed up as if she was going to take off, but her car was too badly damaged. I thought she was drunk or high on something so I didn't even talk to her. Called the police and my friend Liz (I was on the way to her house at the time). No harm done, but the back bumper of the truck had to be repaired.

Luci, what Bill said...you could feel a whole lot worse tomorrow. See your doctor or chiropractor and get a massage!
I am so glad that you weren't hurt badly. Cars can be replaced...you can't be!

the other driver has insurance. and the police were there and filled out a report. he's definitely at fault. shouldn't be any problem, just a "pain in the neck" so to speak. i may go get checked tomorrow... i'm pretty sore right now. thanks everyone.

Pain in the neck...you're doing the right thing by seeing the Doc.
We have so much trouble with cells and text that Michingan is trying to make it illegal while driving. In the meantime we see a lot of deaths attibuted to these stupid actions.

Luci....it is important to get your neck checked out....sometimes you can do more damage than you think....and it can cause you a great deal of pain is deterioation in the future....better safe than sorry!

Is it just here or do people seem to be driving like a bunch of nuts lately? I had a man in a van pull right over into my lane the other day and if I had not had very fast reflexex I would have been smashed into the concrete divider in the road.
