Thank you all, it was eventful if not exciting. Hubby had a gastric bypass, won't be forgetting my birthday any more. Grandson's truck took a dump in OH on his way home for pre deployment leave. Had to give his mother my gas cards and money to go fetch him, truck is still in OH. At least there was no farm crisis to come home to but was hoping the donkey would have dropped her baby, that would have been a nice present but no such luck. Just glad I won't have to turn 63 again.
It sounds like you might want to re do your Birthday and have the results turn out a little better for you. Sorry to hear, it was not what it should have been.

Well today is hubby's birthday and things have improved. The truck was a loss but did get someone to pay us $100 for it and tow it back to MI so we didn't have to get the rest of Andrew's stuff from OH. The donkey still hasn't had her baby but hubby is down to 300 give or take a pound and I have lost 6 pounds not cooking but twice since Halloween. Andrew is now in Baghdad so we now are hoping that my 64th will bring reason to really celebrate.
I am so happy to hear how things seem to be turning around for you. Congrats to your hubby for the progress he has made and it appears as if you have found the secret for getting in shape. Good luck on the birth of the little donkey.
