Ugh. That poor woman experienced such a tragedy. It's amazing that people actually harassed her. Under the circumstances, it's not just rude but cruel.

How dare people heckle someone because they lost a family member d/t no health insurance. That is the height of ugliness and stupidity. God bless that poor woman.

Yes, people do die because they don't have health insurance. Two of my son's co-workers have died in the last 10 weeks. Both were men in their early 40's who had not had regular health screenings due to lack of insurance. Because they worked somewhere that paid slightly more than minimum wage they earned too much to qualify for free health care. So now I know of four orphans, a widow and an elderly mother that have lost the main breadwinner for their families and still have the enormous medical bills left behind by emergency treatment that only delayed the inevitable.
