oops should have check the spelling before I post it.
I did not see it but I sure have heard about it today. He can sing so he really does not need to do over the top things but I guess that is his style. I did see his CD was selling for under $10 so I take it that it is not doing well.
I thought his performance was self indulgent and most of what he did was for the shock value. I was so disappointed in him, cause he really does have a good voice, but he screamed most of the "song" and what ever else he was doing was for pure shock value. i agree, it shouldn't have been on network tv. Kris Allen, on the other hand, was neat and poised in his presentation of an award, and was more impressive to me.
I was pleased to see the presence of about 7 AI people on the show. It just gives it relevance for anyone who just thinks of AI as a reality show. the performances of kelly and Daughtry and Carrie show one and all that talented people are discovered on AI.

And Adam has talent. He will be around for a long time ...
I think it was totally inappropriate - especially for an awards show and knowing what the viewing audience would be.
Not only were the actions lewd, the whole thing was just horrible. There were a couple of seconds of it blocked out on my tv, did that happen to anyone else?
What a poor representation of Adam's extraordinary talent.
It seems that many of these groups just keep going further and further in their clothes and music enactments. It's really sad if this is what musical entertainment has come to.

What did you think about his "babysitting" comment.
It just keeps getting worse. He may not be a babysitter, but he is setting inappropriate examples for the young kids that watch him.
I really enjoyed his performance even though it was risque. Should he have done it? Yes. He was himself. Why should he hold back on being himself. Should he have waited until he was more grounded in the music industry? I don't think so. Will it happen again on TV? I don't think so unless he does a show on HBO or Showtime. At least now, people know who he is.
I hope he continue to push the envelope and to continue to be himself. What Adam did on TV, I have seen it on Soap Operas already. What he did is nothing new.
