My care was a 58 Ford - spelled LEMON - I wanted a 57 Chevy, but, I was still a minor and my mother insisted my uncle pick my car. I spent moren on repairs than it cost me and junked it 2 months before it was paid for. No I couldn't sell it long before or trade it because back then 19 was still a minor and it was in my mother's name.
Mine was an AMC Matadour, dark brown with a recessed light between the back seat, I thought that was the coolest car lol. I think the year I bought it was 1974.
My first car was a '72 Mercury Marquis, powder blue. It was great on gas back then but today, would take quite a few dollars to fill it.
My first car was a 1973 Ford Maverick. I kept it for 16 1/2 years. It was red with black interior and I loved it!!!!
I started driving in 1959, but my first car was a 1950 Chevy Bel Aire. Great car. It was my father's car. Automatic, and 4 door. If I would have taken better care of it, I probably would still have it.
My first car was a 1949 Studebaker, aqua (i think they only made them in one color) You went to the gas station and had them check the gas and fill up the oil.
My first car was also had a red Ford Maverick and had a black stripe down each side. The steering column caught on fire as I was driving it down the road.
