We have a $10.95 per month dial-up service that the kids use at home; and a $40 per month wireless Broadband connection through a cell phone company that hubby and I use at home. When our contract runs out on the broadband next year, we are thinking of switching to all DSL through the phone or cable company here in town.
We have broadband through Verizon Fios , it costs $ 30 per month .

I get a package deal....$89 for extended basic cable, broadband, and telephone with unlimited US/Canada calls thru Charter Communications, which BTW their service department sucks. ( and that's the nicest thing I can say about their service dept!!)
I have a package deal through Time-Warner...my broadband internet, digital telephone(with free calling all over the US) and digital cable(which includes the sports pack) is $124.00/month---
I have Time-Warner here...but no pkg.
I was paying way too much for the pkg...and switched to satellite for t.v. Have no phone (in house...landline) just a cell.
I pay Time-Warner $60.00 per month for cable modem...DSL ??? What is the difference between broadband, & DSL ?
I am seriously thinking about changing to satellite for p/c but have so mucg trouble with t.v. when the weather is bad...just thought satellite (Hughs net) might be a problem, too.

MamaE - a friend of mine has Hughes Net satellite internet and she does have problems with her internet service when the weather acts up. She doesn't have much of a choice since she lives way out in the country, though. Just thought you might want to know that.
road runner lite at home for 19 a month--do not have cable tv or any of the rest. just the internet.
I have Blue Mountain Internet...dial up...moan and groan but it's all I can afford out here in the country. $39.99 for three months..not bad!!
