Thanksgiving

I know that a lot of the members are NOT Native Zonies and hence Family may be far away. Does EVERYONE have a place to be, people to be with, on Thanksgiving?

My son and I are going to Bisbee for the day and having Thanksgiving with friends. It will be a fun day with good friends, good food and lots of laughter.

I will be home, no dog-sitting this Thanksgiving (at least not yet). I am going to the store in a few minutes and pick up the last few food items I need for my turkey breast and then come back home and rest. I may work a few hours if the work is there, otherwise I'm home alone, but I have lots to be thankful for this year.

No plans, by choice. An out of town friend will be in town for the week and a couple of days will be spent with her, but not Thanksgiving Day.

Lyn & Sherrie... You would both be welcome at my Mother-in-laws. It will be just the three of us up here in Chino Valley. Something to consider.

Thank you so much for the offer, Casey, but I really am looking forward to a quiet day, doing nothing, watching movies, reading, whatever. I'm not particularly fond of traditional Thanksgiving food, but I did buy a small turkey roast because I do like leftover turkey sandwiches. I hope they taste the same as I remember them! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Michele, and her mom, too, of course (she's up to this? That's great news!)

As usual I will be working both Thanksgiving and the day after. Joe will be going to California to spend a few days with his family. Chuck will also be working, half a day. Tabatha will be fixing a small meal for us for after I get home. Hope everyone has a good holiday.

Thanks for checking on us. I have a son, daughter-in-law, and grandson living near here. There will be 13 or so of us here in Glendale. Enjoy the big meal everyone!

I am thankful to God I have some friends; my Mother died last February and she was all I had. SSSSoooo...now my friends have become my family! I am so Blessed!

Thanks for asking Casey. I will be traveling down to Phoenix to have Thanksgiving Dinner with my friends there. I am making my cheesecake brownies and I am making cranberry sauce from scratch.
