Rock Star Sex?

Ok, so maybe Frenchy can help me here with this, or anyone else...but do you ever read a story and say "WHAT?"

I was reading this story on the guy who landed the plane in the Hudson River without anyone dying, who is now considered a hero, and how his sex life improved. His wife said it did.

Maybe I'm dense, but I can see how it would help if you were single, but married? Help me out here.

"He doesn't know I'm gonna say this, but I had joked the other day that ... the hero sex really helps a 20-year-old marriage," Laurie Sullenberger said with a laugh, according to an NBC transcript.

"Rock star sex," Chesley Sullenberger chimed in.

renewed appreciation for the spouse... pretty bad he has to save a plane of people to re-spark the marriage sex.

probably just seeing someone who you are starting to take for granted as something more again than a piece of furniture.

I think it's probably that he feels more alive and happy to be amongst the living than it having anything to do with his spouse at all.

I don't think it is the same person after an event like that. He is a huge hero and rightfully so, and I think maybe he and his wife realized what they almost lost. And a couple glasses of wine, dancing around the living room and bada-boom, bada-bang, they've been rekindled. I think it's great! :-)

yes that is what my thought was as well yet dad4evr has a good point about the man feeling invigorated too

maybe the impact also impacted his dick.

I think it's very, very easy to take your spouse or SO for granted after so many years. You think they're going to be around forever and then something happens that wakes you up to the fact that it could all be gone in an instant. Yes, I'd say that would kick start the need for intimacy.
