I went to Coney Island with my parents and my brother. We'd go to the beach - I enjoyed finding shells - Then we'd go to Fascination and play ski ball. We'd go to Nathans and get Roast Beef sandwiches, or the hot dogs - and, of course, the French Fries. There was also the Belgian Waffles with ice cream.
I enjoyed going to SteepleChase. I remember the big slides, and there was this cranky old man who would yell at you if he felt you went on too often. Also the barrel roll - Was the catepillar ride in Astroland? I went on that. I remember going on the Wild Mouse once - and the Cyclone when I was in my mid twenties, but I didn't like roller coasters - still don't.

Coney Island of the 50s and 60s will always be in my heart. I loved stuffing myself with the knishes and the hotdogs and the ice cream custard cones. I loved the barrel roll and the Himalaya . I also don't do roller coasters. As a teenager my sisters and i would flirt with the guys. I sure do miss those days.
