I just can not get over how surprised the vast majority of folks are when news like this comes out. It used to be said that we knew more about the moon than we do about our own oceans. The current comparison is that we know more about Mars than about our own oceans. We find new land-based plants and animals often enough, it can only be expected that we will find much, much more in our unexplored seas.
