Satruday the pet store had a adoption fair for several of the local pet shelters. I decided to go take a look. I have no plans to get a pet. I have been saying since my border collie Lady died in 2002 there would be no more pets for me. But this girl caught my eye. And when they let me hold her, she just snuggled up to me. See inside for what I brought home.

This is Lila. So far she seems to be settling in good. She has claimed the chair in my den. And last night she was supervising my sewing. She is quiet, which is good. She's about 2 yrs old. She has all her shots, has been "fixed" so no babies from her. I think I made a good choice.

She is beautiful Wish you two the best of luck. I myself have 4 cats. Two of them are over 22 lbs. They are great company.

She is beautiful Ellen. I am sure she will be a blessing you to you. And thanks for choosing a rescue cat. So many have no homes. I wish I could take more but two is enough for me right now.
