You know, those curves make it impossible for all to feel that they are at the same gathering, because it forces the chairs to face in different directions.

I've seen a pool table that can be used as a dining room table as well. I thought that was cool,...but it did take up lots of room,...and guests tend to stuff their dirty napkins in the holes. tsk tsk.

Think about it. All the curves make it possible to interact with many more people than at a rectangular or circular table. Great idea.

Well....maybe not so great if you are sitting near someone who stuffs carrots up their nose, or that guy who used to call you his love goddess and is now married to your sister, or your mother-in-law who has a really bad case of hot flashes, or.........well you get the idea.

That would be cool. A table that goes up in the ceiling or down through the floor when you're not using it. As for a pool table for dining the only one I've seen used that way was on the Beverly Hillbillies and they called it a" fancy eatin table "and used the cue sticks for pot passers!
