Alamo, San Antonio Texas. My memory is a little weak on this, but I believe "they" built a new complete Alamo for the movie. It is my understanding that it still stands near Love, Texas And supposedly open to the public. Again it is my understanding that another movie site is located near (?) by and is also open to the public. Ot course, I could be wrong as I have been wrong once today already
