I guess I don't really remember most of my dreams and the ones I do I recall the content but not what's happening around it.

I think though that I often experience theme music playing in my head while I'm awake but not concentrating on anything. I have songs pop into my mind and I don't know what caused that particular tune to come into my mind.

As crazy,dark,scary,and mumble and jumbled as my dreams are........
I don't recall any music,BUT,that doesn't mean that I haven't had music in my dreams.
I might have justt not rememberd it......
This is a first for me,as far as ever hearing about music in dreams......

Well I'll be! I never heard of that either! Are you sure your radio alarm didn't go off or what you heard was music somewhere else in the house? I was a Psychology/Bible major in college & I have never heard of anyone ever hearing music in their dreams before. Anything is possible though. The mind is still relatively unexplored territory because they are always discovering new ideas as to why we do this or that as well as new treatments/therapies for certain conditions.

But they haven't found one for Red's yet......

OUCH!! Lol! Maybe someday they will find one for me & the rest of us to. Lol!

I have all kind of sounds in mine encluding music. I thik it s something we just forget when we awake.

I remember music in my dreams, but not necessarily the visual part with it. I think it's the same as when I'm awake--certain words or phrases reminding me of lyrics. So if you're weird, Rcajun, I'm weird. But then I already knew I was.

LOL... No Red, it's not the alarm... I don't even have a radio alarm... LOL... :0))))

I DO sleep with the TV on, although the volumn is so low you almost wouldn't even know it.

The music is DEFINITELY not related to that, though. For the most part, I can't quite make out the individual songs (although there have been times that I have been able to), but the type of the music seems to be in step with whatever genre I have been listening to during the day... I have varying and eclectic tastes in music, so I don't always listen to the same thing.

Maybe I should start noticing the mood of the dreams, and the type of music. Usually, my dreams are happy... not generally scary or weird. I don't always remember the content of the dreams unless I make a particular mental note to do so immediately upon awakening.

I do know that my happy dreams have accompaniment. I have never paid attention to whether my nightmares do, since I don't often have them.

I have heard it suggested that you should keep a pad and pen next to the bed so that you can immediately write down the content of your dreams when you open your eyes. Maybe I'll put that into practice just out of curiosity.
