Obama & Dems Fear Palin!

When loyal Dems see their talking heads on TV saying
They wish Snow White would run against Obama and they have no fear of her because "she's a joke" but at the same time they recieve Emails from the DNC or Obama begging for money to help fight her lies(wink wink)how can they reconcile the obvious contradiction?

Here's the most recent email from the(Palin)FEARLESS Dems,

Friend --

Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn.

It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term "Death Panels" -- and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists.

Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

As we approach the final sprint on health reform, we can't afford more deception and delay. We need to be ready for anything -- and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come.

So we're setting a big goal: $500,000 in the next week to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies. Please chip in $5 or more to help reach our goal.

Earlier this month, Palin publicly said that she hopes health reform will be "dead on arrival." And since then, she's been working fiercely toward that goal.

On Tuesday, Palin went on Rush Limbaugh's radio show where she outrageously -- and falsely -- suggested that Americans could "face jail time as punishment" if they don't buy insurance.

Palin has many more interviews scheduled on Hannity and other conservative shows in the next few weeks, with more platforms to go after the President. As soon as she does, the rest of our opponents will likely parrot those attacks.

We need to be prepared. And we're counting on you help. Can you chip in $5 or more?

Both sides use figures from the other for fund raising purposes. Anyone remember the Hillary fund raising letters from the GOP? I don't thing the GOP feared her any more than the Dems actually fear Palin. They just take advantage of a great fund raising icon.

Just curious, why does the right always insist that anyone criticized is feared? Doesn't make any sense to me. I don't fear any of the public figures I criticize. Most everyone has valid reasons for the people they don't agree with and that doesn't have anything to do with fear.

And the fund raiser does have a point - Palin was the one who came up with the ridiculous and totally false claim about the bill containing death panels.

My question is regarding the contradiction? Fund raising is easy to
understand,lol.

I'm sorry mshadow I can't seem to understand anything the right or left
does,can't help you there?

I do believe they both fear Snow White!

I don't fear her, but I am dismayed and disheartened by how often and how well she has called for and encouraged thoughts of violence. Never before have American Christians felt that it was right to pray for the death of their own president, even to the point of threatening assassination. She is a fearmonger who seems to bring forth nastiness and an unthinking hatred in her followers.

On the other hand, she's doing a fine job of poisoning GOP unity. Palin mania is tearing republicans apart, and I'd guess that many in her own party fear her influence on the tea party folks.

Republicans use Democrats to fundraise and vice versa.

Of course you and many other libs fear her MM. She is a woman who attended all the "wrong" collages, she's happily married, decided to keep her Down Syndrome baby and didn't shy away from her daughter getting pregnant. She's a common woman. She believes in small government and was elected as a state Governor, and maintained a high approval rating. Then she's suddenly cast upon the national political stage. That may have been a mistake on the McCain campaigns part as she had no real experience with the media or foreign policy.
Fame and notoriety, a chance to become the V.P. is RESERVED for an Ivy League educated woman, a woman who stands strong on freedom to chose an abortion and by all means a woman from a large city. What happened to her was all wrong...that's not the way it's supposed to be. Of course your afraid, if she was of no relevance you would ignore her, but the libs don't. They keep tearing at her potential. Why?
I think you can pretty much forget about Palin and the GOP, I believe she'll not run for office intentionally. She'll do her best to point out Obama's mistakes, she'll become a "community organizer", except it will be for conservatism. She'll not rip up the GOP any more than it is. Her threats to liberalism are rallies, fundraisers and facts. You can pray all day that she runs as a Republican for the presidency, but she won't. She'll just garner a hell of a lot of votes against liberal candidates, not necessarily for the GOP. And that is the threat you fear.
Just think about it. All of the coverage, all of the fact checking of her book and background (note the lack of fact checking on any liberals books, including Obama's) all the publicity, the number of people sent by the media and Obama campaign to Alaska to dig up whatever they could, and the best libs can come up with is a few gaffes and her frustration with the condesending questions and media coverage. The endless negative words written about her are all for a reason, she poses a threat.
I'm personally not a Palin fan, I doubt I would vote for her. But then I don't think I'll get get chance. I don't have a horse in this race. But not afraid? You can deny it all you like but there is no other logical reason to keep up this never ending onslaught of negative ink and spoken word.
Too bad you guys can't muster this much enthusiasm for issues that matter. "It's the economy stupid" seems like a much better focus. Just pushing your candidate in the right direction is not abandoning him, in fact it would do more to unite the country behind him than continually chasing your tail over his critics.

Fearful quotes from the email!

"We need to be ready for anything -- and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come."
"Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn."
"Palin has many more interviews scheduled"
"We need to be prepared. And we're counting on you help."
"in the next week to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies."

Sounds Like fear to me?

Good points andiamo1

TWO Fund raising is irrelevant of partisans being aware of the contradiction of messages
ie; " she's a joke" vs, " we're counting on your help to help push back against Sarah Palin"

Sounds Like fear to me!
