Sarah Palin's Newsweek cover

Did anybody see that? They said she was upset because it was a cover she had done for Runner's World. Well, not only do I NOT know any runners who stand around looking like that (most are red faced & bent over holding their knees) but I don't know anybody who runs in pantyhose & I think she was holding either a stapler to post her latest comments or a portable iron to touch up on the road. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

I've seen it. She claims it's sexist. Why didn't she think so when she posed for it for Runner's World? Wasn't it sexist then?

How about desecrating that flag?

Hey, I didn't notice that flag part...she's got her elbow on it. Maybe that's what she ironed.

You can't have it both ways. Use sex to sell your politics than vehemently deny it and say your for women's rights.
Wake up Sarah-the women of the United States are watching you. Try to be a better role model!

You've got it exactly, finite! She uses her sex when it gets her attention and then cries sexism. Disgusting. There are so many intelligent women out there who are really working for us; what kind of sad commentary is it that SP gets all the attention?? Of course, looks whose attention she's grabbing the most - maybe not the brightest lightbulbs in the box anyway.

Thank you midwife...I so agree. Or the sharpest knives in the drawer. I don't have anything against butterknives unless you're trying to cut a steak.

I was so focused on what she has in her hand, I didn't even notice the caption saying she's good for no one. So, all she was upset about was the sexist photo?

Just goes to show - guess she's more concerned with looks than substance. But didn't we already know that?!

LLA: "So, all she was upset about was the sexist photo? "

I'm guessing she was upset about the text; not the photo. As has been mentioned, she apparently posed for the picture. Reasonably intelligent/ethical people don't pose for pictures they consider demeaning, and I suspect her reaction was a good deal more positive when it appeared in Runner's World (or wherever the original was shown).

Be that as it may, I'm royally sick of Sarah Palin. The only qualification there is for the post of celebrity is celebration.

I am royally sick of her too. I agree with midwife that there are so many good women in politics & she gets so much attention. It's really a shame. Even when I saw embarrassing interviews she did, nobody seemed to care as much as I thought they would considering what office she would be so close to.
