Space Mt at Disney World probably 15 years ago or longer. Not a big fan of the feeling I get(sick LOL).
Anyway, my eye dr says it's not a good idea anymore. I am at risk for a detached retina if I ride.
yikes !!
the las time for me was at the state fair.... an i had jus
had a corn dogg.. (used to really luv those when i ate meat)
letts jus say... nott a good idea... to have a corn dogg then
ride the roller..coaster.... well haven't had corn doggs since
an don't ride roller coaster... either.... it's been more than
10 years for me.....
I think my last ride may have contributed to my stroke in '02, so don't do these any more. I loved roller coasters as a kid because you didn't have to go around in a circle. Now they put you through loops, which are not for me.
I might ride a wooden coaster one day again...we'll see.
It's been a couple of years, but I love roller coasters! I like the old-fashioned kind best - not the ones that turn you upside down. Last time I went to an amusement park with my daughter, we just went back and forth between the three roller coasters - so much fun!
wow !! so sorry to hear of...your stroke..ST...
weren't we all more carefree in our youth...
remember when the older ones used to tell
us... these r the best years... of your life..
they were so right..... tho i'm nott sure i believed
them... at the time... LOL
hi... VeggieDoc... good to see u....isn't it so nice when
sharin special.... times.. with family.....
I've never ridden a roller coaster. When I was a child, I didn't have the money for such an extravagance -- maybe I was simply too cheap to treat myself. Anyway, now I look at the people who operate and maintain roller coasters, and I wouldn't allow them to work on my car and like I'm going to ride their ride?
I guess the truth is, time slipped up on me and there are a number of things I wish I'd done. Riding a coaster is one of them. A small kiddie coaster would've sufficed.
Had an old girlfriend who wanted to ride every major roller coaster in North America. (She also wanted to be an astronaut, but was turned down because she was the sole surviving parent of a young daughter.) Not sure how far along she got with that. Wish I could call her and ask.
Last roller coaster..that would be when I was 18 at the local 4H Fair and pregnant, I
got so sick, I vowed never to do that again and I have not. :-).
i too am sad u did nott have that experience..Wurdguy.... i think
every child should have that thrill..(especially boys) jus cuz they
seem to like fast things cars..etc.....
i still have many things i haven't done yet.... am will to do...like
skydivin.... i still need to do that... an am lookin forward to doin so
i hope u have the opportunity to full fill some of your other goals
maybe u can google her.. an find outt where she is...jus a thought.
yikes !! dreamer..... i don't blame u....
