Gettin ALL the good deals

Do you shop on Black Friday?

I have never been one for crowds. I never went shopping on Black Friday...until last year. It was no big deal. Prices seemed to be about the same...except for a few items, and most of them were not in stock....
I'm not shopping this year, on Black Friday....and have already purchased a lot of my gifts so I am almost all set.

I only shop on Black Friday if I run out of toilet paper or food.

Deals? You want deals? Wait til after Christmas, they'll be paying you to come into the stores. That's what I do. I told all my friends and relatives I converted to Orthodox Christianity, and celebrated the Feast of the Magi, or whatever, on January 6 (or if I'm really late, the 12th). Then I get them their presents whenever it's convenient. Like I'm going to go fight for a parking spot at the mall to celebrate Jesus's birthday? Forget that! That's if I even buy anything, lots of times I make presents.

I figure there's a reason they call it "Black Friday" & stay home.

I do not like to go shopping for much of anything on the day after Thanksgiving, though I've done so before. People go out, in hordes, it seems, and for some reason become extremely discourteous. They seem to want to run over anyone who gets in their way and never excuse themselves, etc. Nope, NOT going shopping this year then! Besides, for the most part, I have all my gifts all ready. I just have to wrap, wrap, wrap, and then mail! Not too much to do but stand in the Post Office packages line.

If I was still living in California--no, but here, not so bad, but this year I have my shopping done, so probably won't go out. There have been so many good sales already, that I was able to get everything taken care of. Now, like Zebra says, it's wrap and stand in line at the Post Office or UPS.

I think that the day after Christmas is worse than Black Friday for crowds.
