Goodness Naiche. No wonder you have claustrophobia!!
Oh my Naiche. You see that happening in the movies but not in real life. Glad you are here to talk about it.
Frogs! & Camel Crickets! Go figure! Oh Yes, Also Big Loud Dogs!
Potato bugs (Jeruselum Beetles), Tomato worms, and house cleaning (oh, I just don't like to do it) lol
OK Sydney....I guess I also have a fear of house cleaning.
I live alone, and the dog/cat don't seem to notice the dust bunnies...lol hahaha

Dear MamaE... as I lie here on my psychologists couch, I will share my fears and phobias with y'all!
As a young child and teen, I had no fears whatsoever, then as I grew older and hearing tales from my parents and others, as a young adult, I began to shy away from certain situations that might cause me fear.
I used to climb roofs, hang from trees and go up in tall buildings... suddenly, I developed a fear of heights. I can ride elevators, but disslike escalators because they are open.
I can drive anywhere in any kind of traffic, but get anxious when stopped in traffic and expecially disslike driving over high or long bridges.
I also developed what I call a fear of the unknown! I would always need to know many details about situations and places in advance of going there.
At one point, I did spend several sessions speaking with my doctor and have read some self help therapy books, both of which I found helpful.
Finally, at my age... I am beginning to take the attitude; I've lived this long...why worry???
Footnote: my grandfather, a stone mason, died in a fall while working on a tall building. Possibly the reason for my fear of high places, bridges, etc.
Okay.........one really big one I forgot about:
Speaking in front of a group of people. I just can't. Won't.
Public speaking; SydneyL... this is probably the most common of all fears, I believe we all have a bit of that and It's a natural anxiety. If you ask even the most seasoned speakers and performers they will tell you they also suffer "stage fright"!
Although I usually shy away from making a public statement, have over the years become more comfortable in doing so, starting with offering a toast or a prayer before a dinner in front of a group.
Beginning with family gatherings and eventually before anyone. I just make it really brief!!!
I hate Moths. The neighbor boy, used to throw, huge flying grasshoppers on my long curly hair - UCK - those flying critters (any flying critter that gets to close to me)
Also, fear of driving on the freeway and all the huge semis - hate traveling along the road with them!
I have a fear of getting lost - have a GPS, and afraid to try it out again, after focusing on it too much, and went through a RED light.
