No Skeeter, I just have the microphone I use for recording my songs. I think I should work on my recitative skills, just as I do my singing :-D

Well, I perform my own poetry live onstage, so don't want to counsel you there. I used to have one performance in three video parts, but lost Part 2 some years back. Thinking of making a new vid using Part 1 and Part 3 spliced together with an explanation in the middle.

This was video shot on broadcast quality tape by someone else -- then duped to a VHS for me. That's all I can recall.

My video here called "HEATER" is an example of vocal improv while holding the camera, which is what I'd love to see you do, both singing and speaking. Connect a lavalier to a camcorder then sing while you shoot...that would be rad. Or just set the camera down on a tabletop, turn it on, and go sing in front of it w/ your guitar. Either way.

You can get an entry-level videocam pretty cheap these days.....????

No, first order of business is a camera - then a printer! I'd rather read a written piece than improvise.

Well, good luck on your purchases. I'd still like to see you do a written piece from memory, just like you sing a song from memory. But this is a personal preference; lot of poets read from their work.

Off to dreamland...or oblivion...either way....
