I don't really have a favorite but I hate to have to talk with people in India. I can hardly understand them.

I love to hear French,Red knows that!
and I like to hear an Irish brogue,and australian!
I don't like to hear Spanish,it sounds way too fast.

Well I guess my favorite would be southern....I love to hear Paula Dean talk. I can understand every word she says and just love her accent.

I got a sudden, and somewhat disturbing image of Gomez and Morticia Adams, Storm... ;0))))
I love an Irish accent, but I'm also partial to a N'Awlins drawl... as that accent is MINE!... LOL
I also dislike that east Indian accent because of the difficulty in communication.

Yes I remember about french Storm. I need to take a refresher course, :)
I love the irish and scots accents I dont like mexicanway to fast for me.Indian is hard to understand.

And LadyStorm I love that Scot's accent too,forgot about that one......
I like to hear that 'roll' off the tongue....
chinese and oriental laguages I don't like to hear....
but,if they are speaking English,I don't mint the accent.

I'm not actually from New Orleans, but I have had natives tell me that if they didn't know already, they would never have figured it out, Judy.
Interestingly, there are two distinct dialects in my area: New Orleans, and hard-core Cajun. I can do the Cajun accent, but it's not natural to me.
