Does anyone have a source for coupons for fresh produce?
I will keep my eyes open .... sometimes the stores have coupons for the fresh produce but not often around here.
I gave up on coupons ages ago. It seems like they are usually for the least healthy foods plus they tend to expire before I remember to use them! I usually just shop at Trader Joe's where you don't need coupons to get a good price, and there is a good selection of vegetarian and healthy foods. I shop local produce stands and farmers markets too. I only go to "regular" grocery stores about once a month to get the few name brand products I still prefer to buy and a couple other things they don't carry.
I know what webserf means about coupons....they are cluttery to cut, good usually for ' over processed' stuff, and expire...We should be able to get discounts....period. Lately I have been able to get some senior discounts. There is not a Trader Joe's in my area. I'm on Food Stamps, and some health food stores don't carry them. You do $ave when you don't buy meat. The meat alternatives are pretty good, too.
