It's a real treat to see a roadrunner—they don't just perch in the trees and pose for you! They scurry across the road so fast and disappear that I can't imagine how anyone ever gets a picture of one outside of captivity.

He was begging! Actually he was a quasi-pet of a gift shop owner, however, he was still completely free to roam as he willed. The quickness, and a hand held shot is one reason for the slight blurriness of the feathers, he just didn't want to pose for long.
